Gamer Stuff
Yep, I work on computers all day long and go home and play games...What
do you think got me into these things anyway. I once spent $20 in one
night playing Asteroids.

I have a PS1, but I really have a hard time parting with $50 for every
new game and if I don't like it I am stuck...at least with PC you can
"borrow" your buddies and try it. |

My Gaming Career
I thought I would list out what all games I have played. I have tried many.
As you can see, I like "First Person Shooter" (FPS) games.
Ones that aren't in this list are F19 and Warcraft.
This is a list, not by release date, but by the order (i can remember) of
playing them.
Comments on what I thought of each.
Currently playing BF2, but still really like COD/UO online.

BF2 - Battlefield 2
Info
Very cool 1st person shooter game. If you are a Doomer,
Duke-Nukemer, Half-Lifer, Call of Dutyer kind of person, then you will like
this game. The only thing about it, it is very "team" oriented meaning
you can't just get out there and "spray and pray" to get kills.
Oh yeah maybe should mention: You must have a
good system for this game...if you don't have a somewhat high-end video card
and a gig of memory, then don't even buy this game (unless this is
your justification to upgrade your system)...I HAD an XP3000, 1gig RAM,
Geforce 6600 128m and the thing dogged the sytem after ending most of my
system tasks before starting the game, but it was playable...Waiting on that
FX60, DDR3, 2ea 7800GTX's to come down...lol
Previous statement a little old...
Finally(May 2006) built a XP64 4000(OC'ed to 2500+mhz), 2gig
433mhz dual channel RAM, 2ea SATAII 16meg cache HD RAID 0 harddrives, eVGA
OC'ed Ge7900GT 256meg, X-FI Fata1ity sound, Logitech G5 mouse, Saitek ST290
Pro joystick, Sceptre 20.1" 5ms Widescreen, eDimensions AudioFX FF
headset...

Favorite Servers:
I play on these. I started playing the 64 player servers
(32vs32), but lately I have been looking for smaller sided servers (high
points) like 32 or less playing the full maps b/c the maps last longer
and you get more points(kills). Take these names and look them up in www.game-monitor.com
- (-BS-) multiple ones -
- Old Farts of America
- Head Strong - www.headstrongclan.net
- Battle Brothers
- Dark Legion
- IP: 72.36.222.140 : 16567 "24/7 City Maps StrafeRight.com" - this plays
just city maps...no frickin jets that dominate, plays each map twice switching
the team sides -
http://www.straferight.com
- IP: 72.36.223.165 : 16567 "24/7 Karkand StrafeRight.com" -
this plays Karkland...good for getting score/kills up, keeps you on same side
and same squad everytime - http://www.straferight.com/
- IP: 216.246.9.44 : 16567 "TruEvil 64 Man Ranked" - good
server, plays all maps, but sometimes jets dont give ya a chance - www.truevil.com
COD2 (Call of Duty 2)
Great game for single player, multi-player is ok for a little while.
Have abandoned it after getting tired of the same 6 maps for multi-player.
Supposedly the custom map maker is due out sometime 1st quarter of 2006. Now
why they release the game before having this is beyond me, it has probably
lost alot of loyalty b/c of this.
favorite servers:
- =v4v= - not too moded
- ModSquad - great mods
COD & CODUO (Call of Duty and Call of Duty
United Offensive)
Awesome game for single player and multi-player. Plenty of maps and
moded servers.
favorite servers:
- =v4v= -
server converted to COD2 - http://www.v4v.us/ - great mods, great admins, great
bunch of guys in clan, usually good people hang out there
- ModSquad - "[=ModSquad=]" - http://modsquadclan.com/ - alot of mods (sometimes
too much)
- =bb= - "A =BB= Clan Custom Map
Server" - http://www.bbclan.us - great weapon mods called
"modern weapons", great bunch of guys, usually good guys hanging out on
there
VGA (Video Game Awards)
These are pretty much "console" awards...the good PC games weren't a
factor
